Research Compliance Hot Topics and Training Program

The UC San Diego Research Compliance and Integrity Office (RCI) is pleased to offer the Research Compliance Hot Topics and Training Program (Program) to all UC San Diego faculty, staff and students.  The Program will offer training through a variety of forums, including workshops, videos, newsletters and other activities, and is designed to serve as an educational resource to assist the UC San Diego research community with the complexities of conducting research.  Below is the information for the next session.

Session Title:   UC OATS – Policy Overview and System Introduction
              Date:   Wednesday, November 20, 2019
              Time:  12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
        Location:  Medical Education and Telemedicine Building, Upper Auditorium

This session will provide information about the University of California policies underlying UC OATS and the academic titles required to report their annual Outside Professional Activities in the system.  We’ll also provide an overview and some helpful hints on how to navigate the system.  Finally, we will go over the many resources available.  Please email specific questions to rci@ucsd.edu and these will be provided anonymously to the speaker(s) in advance of the session (questions may also be asked at the session).  

Continuing Education Units (CEUs) will be available through the UC Learning Center.  Light refreshments will also be provided.
